The Corda Formation is a red sandstone geologic formation in the Parnaíba Basin in Tocantins, Brazil. It was formed during the Neoaptian to Eoalbian series of the Early Cretaceous.
Large-scale fossil sauropod tracks have been reported from the formation.

  • rocky bank on the Goias side of Tocantins River, Itaguatins county (municipality), near village of São Domingos, 22 km S of city of Imperatriz, northern extremity of Tocantins state. A few km from Itaguatins Mtn. Paranaíba Basin. Site partially damaged/destroyed by 2011 creation of the Represa Hidroeléctrica de Estreito.
