Etymology Chasseur de Xinjiang

Xinjiangovenator is a genus of coelurosaurian dinosaurs, possibly part of the group Maniraptora, which lived in the Lianmuqin Formation of the Tugulu Group of China, dated to the Early Cretaceous period, sometime between the Valanginian and Albian stages.
