Leptonectes est un genre éteint d'ichthyosaures qui a vécu de la fin du Trias supérieur (Rhétien) jusqu'au Jurassique inférieur (Pliensbachien). Ses restes ont été découverts en Belgique, en Angleterre, en Allemagne et en Suisse.
